Talk about telling your own Party to shove it–Evan Bayh has his own special style
Frankly, I think it is nothing more than a glorified pout because Obama didn’t name him the VP. It will be interesting to see if Obama now will bend over backwards for Bayh–it would be par for the course according Obama’s pattern of behavior for the past year of licking his abusers boots and calling it bipartisanship.
The abrupt retirement of Evan Bayh (D-Ind.) from the Senate leaves Democrats with roughly 24 hours to get a replacement candidate on the primary ballot in Indiana.
A whole 24 hours! Gee thanks. Now let me lick your boots and give you a cabinet appointment.

There are none abused in Kabuki Theater.
Considering Mr Bayh, he realizes there is a populist movement out to take him down. He would not be the next Sen from Ind if he ran, anyway.
But what do you bet he goes on salary for a very large Health insurance (or something to that effect) firm? Never to look back at his sell-out of the American people again.
As for the 24 hours… there was someone picked long ago. Its all part of the Kabuki.
