If Liz were Queen

That is the ultimate test.

and it is not enough to say “yes”.  As we all know too well politicians lie.

In addition to agreeing to always agree with the majority of one’s constitutents, the politican must agree to install a tally on his/her website that will count and register constitutents yeas and nays.

This software must be open to inspection by third parties to prove that it is not faulty.  Addresses must be matched up with voters from the Senators state and/or congressional district.

UNTIL WE HAVE ELECTED OFFICIALS WHO REPRESENT THE WISHES OF THE MAJORITY OF THEIR CONSTITUENTS, WE CANNOT HAVE A DEMOCRACY.

We do not elect our officials to vote as they see fit.  We do not elect our officials to vote party line.  We elected our officials to represent the MAJORITY of their constituents.  That is how a real democracy works–the will of the majority.

Of course, it is the responsibility of the elected official to provide feedback to the constituents as to the benefits of supporting a yea or a nay because the elected official is closer to matter than most citizens.  HOWEVER in the final vote, it should be the MAJORITY who rule.
