If Liz were Queen

YES, MY DEAR, I’M AFRAID IT’S TRUE.   Indeed democracy is a myth that is perpetuated by both Democrats and Republicans.  I’m one of the invisible ones who run the show behind the curtain.  You see, I’m a member of the upper 1% club.

You may think that the people of the USA just finished a giant battle for health care reform, but I can assure you that it was no more than a tempest in a teacup.

All but a handful of those in the Senate wanted status quo for health care.  This includes Democrats (and the White House) as well as all the Republicans. With the assistance of mainstream media, which we own as well, we made it appear as if there were some great battle going on.  In fact, the only real battle going on was between the American people and their elected officials.  58% of the American people wanted a public option.  But you didn’t get it did you?  and do you know why? The Democratic elected officials didn’t want you to have a public option any more than the Republicans did.  Like their Republican pals, they wanted things to stay as close to status quo as possible too.  Why?  Because most of them receive dividends from health insurance companies.  A public option would cut into their own profits.

The “battle” was that the Democrats wanted to slice off a few crumbs for the people to make it look like we were getting something even though it is next to nothing.  The Republicans didn’t want the Democrats to have this small measure of success (however irrelevant it really is to our greater need for reform) because the Republicans wanted to posture this as some big “failure” for the Democrats.

THE REAL FACT IS THAT THE ONLY ONES WHO WON WERE THE CORPORATE SCUMBAGS WHO HAVE BEEN GOUGING AND LITERALLY MURDERING AMERICANS WITH THE FLIM-FLAM GAME THEY CALL “HEALTH INSURANCE” and of course those Senators like Evan Bayh, Joe Lieberman and others who have hundreds of thousands of dollars invested in the health insurance industry.

That is because they do not represent you Dorothy–neither Republicans nor Democrats.  They only attempt to manage the illusion that they represent you.  They only answer to the 1% who live in secrecy behind this curtain.  In fact, many of them belong to our 1% club.

THE ONLY WAY THAT THE AMERICAN PEOPLE CAN WIN IS TO REPLACE THE CURRENT SENATE WITH ORDINARY CITIZENS WHO PROMISE TO VOTE ACCORDING TO THE WISHES OF THE MAJORITY OF THEIR CONSTITUENTS.

YOU CANNOT CONTINUE TO RE-ELECT THESE SAME PEOPLE TIME AFTER TIME AND EXPECT DIFFERENT RESULTS.

IT WON’T HAPPEN AND IT DOES NOT MATTER IF THEY ARE A RICH REPUBLICAN OR A RICH DEMOCRAT.

THE KEY WORD IS “RICH”.

THEY ALL BELONG TO THE SAME CLUB OF “ME FIRST.”
