If Liz were Queen

I guess that all mainstream media do it, but some are worse than others.

They go on and on and on about some insignificant piece of news until they whip it up into some fluffy piece of nonsense.

The attempt to blow up an airplane yesterday is but the latest example.  It was an attempt that was over almost before it was begun.  There was not really even enough time for people to be afraid.

Yet CNN spent most of the day trying to fear monger and whip some “news” into the event.

FACT IS FOLKS:  Such terrorist attempts will be and have been a part our daily life on this planet long before 9/11.

Nothing is going to change and a war in Iraq and Afghanistan is not likely to have much impact one way or the other on protecting Americans from terrorist attacks.

However, mainstream media can do their part by not trying to make a story more than it is.  In so doing, they give these pathetic acts of cowardice more credit than they are due and encourage other wantabes.

Report the news by all means, but leave your dog and pony manipulations out of it.

STICK TO THE FACTS.

STOP STIRRING EMOTIONS.
