Mainstream media, the Republicans, the Obama/Clinton Ratpack can ignore it all they want, but in 2010 there will be a huge progressive backlash
AND this backlash will knock a lot of old blue dogs out of their Senate thrones and replace them with progressive/populist Democrats who will tear Barack Obama and his quasi Republican Wall Street administration a new one.
I am amused at mainstream media pundits who talk about 2010 being a “bad” year for Democrats. It won’t be a “bad year or Democrats”. It will be a bad year for people like Evan Bayh, Blanche Lincoln and other Wall Street suckups who call themselves Democrats.
If Republicans think that they are going to win big time, they better take another gander at their party and look what happened just a month ago in New York. Sarah Palin and all the conservative wackos thought they could unseat a moderate Republican and replace her with one of their wacko ultra conservatives.
LOOK WHAT HAPPENED. THEY LOST EVERYTHING.
The game will be a little different for the Democrats in 2010. We progressives plan to remove incumbents in their primaries. If that doesn’t work, we will follow Bill Clinton and the Centrists’ example with Joe Lieberman. Instead of supporting the Democratic candidate as they did, we will support our “independent” candidates.
Don’t think so? Well, guess what time it is folks. I got a call today from the DFA, the progressive Democratic group led by Howard Dean. They were asking for money as they said “to remove the bad Democrats in 2010″. On Christmas Eve! and just a few hours after the Senate passed Obama’s fake health care reform bill.
and guess what? I gave them a $100 and there is more of that where it came from.
GET ALL THE FAKE MULTIMILLIONAIRE WALL STREET DEMOCRATS OUT OF THE SENATE! THEY ARE EVEN WORSE THAN DAMN REPUBLICANS.

One of the things that Progressives are going to have to make our peace with is not being liked, when we dare to stand up to the sell outs and say, “No! Sometimes good enough is not good enough.” We are going to get branded as obstinate, unrealistic, naive, and more. We must learn to care less about being liked and more about being effective. Ironically in this Joe Lieberman may be our best role model. After all he got his own way, by not caring about how much of an ass he made of himself.
