If Liz were Queen

and yet they support land mines, cluster bombs and endless wars.

Unfortunately, our president is in their same monster league.  He can make all the pretty speeches he wants, but this is the reality of what his flowery rhetoric supports.  He should put the faces of his own daughters on the photograph of this little boy and then ask himself if he still supports land mines and war.  He is not making any “difficult” decision.  His own children are well-protected.  In fact they are even insulated from exposure to the poorly funded public school system–a system that allows military recruiters to start hounding children with their propaganda for war even before they are 18 years old. Obama’s children like all children of the wealthy attend a private school whose annual tuition exceeds many times over the total annual income of the average American family.  Obama’s daughters will  never be forced to make the choice between earning a decent living and having health care and fighting a war for Wall Street.  No those won’t be among the hard choices that Obama’s daughters will have to make.  TOO BAD THAT OBAMA DOESN’T GIVE THE SHXX THAT HE SAID HE DID ABOUT THE CHILDREN OF ORDINARY AMERICANS, OR THE CHILDREN OF AFGHANISTAN AND IRAQ.  If he really cared, his Oslo speech would have been MUCH different. Obama is a fake.

A land mine victim in Afghanistan

IN SHORT, THEY SUPPORT THIS.  ALONG WITH THEIR PHOTOS OF UNBORN CHILDREN, THEY SHOULD ALSO CARRY POSTERS LIKE THESE WITH SLOGANS SUCH AS “We support the maiming and crippling of children AFTER they are born.”  “We also support increasing the rates of birth defect prior to their birth. [Over the past 20 years of US depleted uranium, the birth defect rates in Iraq are 15 times what they were 20 years ago.]

THIS IS WHAT WAR MONGERS LIKE THE REPUBLICANS, CLINTONS AND OBAMA SUPPORT:

Back in March of this year, the USA military congratulated Colombia for sending their troops to Afghanistan.  What was not mentioned is that their main job will be to defuse cluster bombs and other land mines left by the soviets during their siege of Afghanistan.  If anyone should be cleaning up that mess, it would be Putin’s boys, not the Colombians.  Further more, the Colombians should clean up their own damn land mines in their own country before going to clean up messes in another country.

The United States has refused to join more than 90 countries in December in signing the Convention on Cluster Munitions, which bans the use, stockpiling and trade of a weapon that has killed or injured tens of thousands of civilians. Cluster bombs explode in mid-air, dispersing smaller bomblets which can fail to explode on impact. The bomblets remain potentially lethal on the ground, posing a danger to civilians and render agricultural land unusable. The United States last used cluster bombs in Afghanistan in 2001 and in the invasion of Iraq in 2003, when coalition forces dropped an estimated 1.8 million bomblets. The United States has instead pledged to implement a policy to improve the reliability of bomblets, so only 1 percent fail to explode on impact, by 2018.

AND WHAT DO YOU THINK THAT OBAMA RECENTLY DID? He gave the green light to using land mines in Afghanistan.
