Obama says that the USA is “successfully” leaving Iraq? What a lame joke. Almost as lame as “mission accomplished.”
Does Obama, perhaps think it is “successful” that the USA after 7 years of bombarding Iraq has strewn depleted uranium from USA weapons of mass destruction from corner to corner of this country. Does Obama perhaps think it is “successful” that the birth defect rate in Iraq is 15 times what it was before the Bush invasion? Or perhaps Obama considers it a “success” that the middle class in Iraq has been destroyed? Without an educated middle class, there can be no democracy—a lesson Obama might consider when “representing” the people of the USA. It would be interesting indeed to know just exactly what Obama is using as his criteria to define success in Iraq.
